What styles of dresses would likely fit the best for me?
I'm starting to look at dresses for my wedding next fall but really unsure which would compliment my body style best for silhouette and length since I'm short. I like traditional ballgown style dresses and some a-line. I'm 5'0" 125lbs 42D My problem area is my stomach area. I was at one point 232lbs but with the weight loss I have some problems with loose skin so my mid section makes it look like I weigh more than I do (not too bad, I lost my weight more slowly and my skin for the most part kept up with it that way) Overall, I have a petite frame or average for my height. Small arms, shoulders, legs.

here's the comparison of me to my ex's new wife. me: 5'6", 245 pounds, size 20, a floppy 42D-40-45, mousy greyish brown hair, I wear baggy shirts and my maternity jeans from 3 years ago, I only where tennis shoes, I only speak english, when I wear makeup it smears quickly and looks trashy, I failed out of community college twice, and I work a boring desk job. My son is 3 years old. her: 5'2", 120 pounds, a size 3, 34DDD-26-36(i think), long reddish brown hair, wears cute close fit clothes and heels, speaks 5 languages, wears very little makeup but looks glamorous, is majoring in sociology/education, and is a professional belly dancer. And she only had a baby 8 weeks ago (but can't breast feed so the size isn't from milk)! And she was the girl he had lost his virginity to as a teenager. my ex is gorgeous, an ex marine, and used to model. I worked so hard scaring my female friends away from him just to get a chance with him myself. It lasted a very short time before he couldn't take it anymore apparently. He had gotten fat and lazy when we were together too. now she came along and they just happened to fall back in love again and he's just oh so happy with their new family. I just feel like I have been traded in. Like i'm inadaquit. We were divorced for a while before they got back together, but I still feel like he was trying to trade up. Did he?
